is an evolving host of programs designed to support arts practitioners in the production and presentation of new work. Our aim is to support and create venues for critical discourse around artistic practice, within a spirit of mutualism and hospitality.

We are based at 'the Manse', a property in Enfield, NY, and much of our programming revolves around this place - as a place for retreat, for gathering, and for investigating place, location and site through artistic research and production.

Complimenta Residency

The Complimenta Residency is a program designed for artists to pursue their work at the Manse in an focused environment. A resident might take the time to begin a new direction in their work, focus on research, or complete an ongoing project. During this time, residents also help out with the daily goings on of Complimenta. The time-frame of this residency is flexible, depending on resources and the nature of a resident's project. Residents are nominated and chosen by the Complimenta board members. To find out more, write
